Inn at USC

The principal hotel for the conference will be The Inn at USC. It is a newly renovated three-level structure in a quiet neighborhood about 300 meters from the meeting hall. Reservations made at The Inn prior to 22 May will benefit from the conference inclusive daily rate of $129. Additional space at a lower price will be available in a nearby university dormitory.

A complimentary breakfast is included in your registration when you are a guest at the Inn at USC. This complimentary, delicious, cooked-to-order breakfast in located on the first floor of the Inn in the Palmetto Room. No reservations are required.

On Campus Dorm Housing

A limited number of guest rooms will be available in campus dorm housing, located less than a five minute walk to the meetings, from Sunday, 22 June 2008 - Saturday, 28 June 2008. Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with two single beds. Each room is connected by a bath that is shared with another guest. Bed linens will be provided (including a pillow and blanket) as well as a washcloth and bath towel.

Housing policies. It is understood that members of the opposite sex may not be housed in the same room unless legally married or a parent/child relationship exits. For those participants staying in campus housing under the age of 18, there must be an adult accompanying the guest. No one under the age of eight (8) is permitted to stay on campus with a guest. Any person required to register under Article 7, Sex Offender Registry, is prohibited from living in campus student housing. S.C. Code of Laws Ann. 23-3-465 (2005).

A color-coded bracelet will be issued to each residential participant and is required to be worn at all times for security and identification. Replacement bracelets will be billed at $5.00 each. Access cards are required for entry to the residence hall. Replacement cards will be billed at $3.00 each. A residence hall room key will be issued for each residential participant. Lost or unreturned keys will be billed at $81.00 each.

Smoking and use of all tobacco products is prohibited in all university buildings, including campus dorm housing.

The rate for on campus dorm housing is $330.00 from Sunday, 22 June 2008 - Saturday, 28 June 2008. Check-in time is 2 pm on 22 June 2008 and check-out time is 11:00 am on 28 June 2008.
